Digital Art | Texture Portraits

Digital Art students have created texture portraits by creating cut outs of textures and placing them above their image of a person. They lowered the opacity to show the image beneath and created a background by using the "Liquify" feature on an image that had colors they liked.

They them used their snowflake as a stencil and traced it onto their other 2 pieces of paper. On the first paper, students painting the positive space with ink and the negative spaces with watercolors paints. On the second, they did the opposite. Both are going to be painted using a similar color scheme or design.
