After adding color to the Zentangle Animals using colored pencil, students practiced 4 different watercolor techniques as a class. These techniques included a gradient, a series of curved lines, rolling brush, and paper towel textures. The next step was to choose one of these techniques and use it to add a watercolor background to their drawings.
