Below are examples of the Zentangle Project created by the 8th graders. Students began by drawing three ocean animals - sea horses, sea turtles, and sharks. Next they added at least 5 patterns, students were able to choose whether to add these patterns inside or around their animals. For the smaller areas of their patterns students colored the designs in using watercolor pencils.
