Digital Photography students are working with creating cut outs from images using various textures. They are using these cut outs to replace areas on portraits to create their "Textured Portrait" project. Below are some examples of textures students gathered to use on this project.
To begin this project we worked as a class to choose on area to replace. We went through the step by step process to select the area, create the cut out, and adjust the opacity to make the layer transparent. Below are some examples of this project in the very first stages.
