8th grade students just finished their mosaic projects focusing on color. They were each asked to select 3 colors next to each other and the color wheel and use those 3 analogous colors to complete the project. They could bring in other colors as well, however those 3 needed to stand out as being the most important. Another thing they worked on was overlapping pieces and separating different areas with the pieces. Each student came up with their own idea on what to create surrounding their animal; this could be realistic or abstract.
