To prepare for their acrylic painting project, the 8th grade students have been working on a painting technique by creating designs using a series of dots on paper. We looked at images of Australia's Aboriginal Art to get some ideas for patterns that students may want to incorporate as well as analyzed the colors being used. They have started to choose and draw their animals and will begin to add paint today. Below are some images of our practice activity.
